About Camp
Schedules
Camp Good Times understands the needs of children with autism and how to provide a summer camp opportunity that many children are afforded duing summertime. Camp Good Times offers summer day camp experiences to promote the development of social, communication, and recreational skills in an inclusive setting with typical peers.
Our activities include swimming, water games, sensory activities, field trips, sports and active games, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, music class, and many more of the typical activities you would see at a general summer camp. Camp Good Times is in session during the month of June. The camp's timeline and schedule of activities is a year-long effort of family networking, staff recruitment, interaction with school districts and county disability boards, fund raising and finally planning of the camp session by a dedicated board of directors and the camp staff.
Camp strives to offer a typical day camp experience for both children with autism and their friends. Our daily schedule includes a wide range of day camp activities, including, but not limited to the following:
- All Camp Morning Meeting and Flag Ceremonies
- Music and Movement
- Computer
- Arts and Crafts
- Sports and Organized Games and Interactive Activities
- Organized Playground Time and Activities
